Product Description

The patented 3D Active Ambient is a unique, revolutionary IEM system that allows you to hear your monitor mix while mixing in a selectable level of on-stage ambient sound — all while keeping your ears acoustically sealed. Guitarists can hear their amps acoustically. Drummers can hear their full kit naturally. Vocalists can interact with the audience. Finally, IEM users “get their ears back” while retaining the advantage of controlled isolation from extreme volume. The secret is having binaural microphones embedded in the 3D earphones, picking up natural stage sound that can be added to the monitor mix as desired.

U.S. Patent Number 8,160,261 B2 grants 50 specific claims to Sensaphonics for the 3D Active Ambient IEM System.
