Sensaphonics 3D Custom Shop

The Sound Guy also coordinates the custom shop for our 3D Active Ambient™ IEM System. This involves circuit board modifications to the 3D bodypack and hardware for special applications.

3D-RO Mod – This is the “Record Out” version, allowing you to send the audio from the 3D earphone mics out to a digital recorder so you can capture the concert experience exactly as it was heard.

3D-Bass Boost Mod-  The Bass Boost modification provides a +10 dB low frequency boost switch in the 3D body pack mixer, significantly bringing out the sub-bass spectrum. The wiring of the upgrade re-purposes the bodypack’s internal DIP switch, normally used to select between 3D-1 and 3D-2 ambient earphones, using it as an on/off switch for the +10 dB Bass Boost effect. The Bass Boost option can be incorporated in any 3D Active Ambient system that uses the 3D-2 dual driver ambient earphones.

3D-CROS Mod – This modification is for users with unilateral hearing loss. The ambient audio from the earphone mics is summed and routed to the good ear in mono, providing the essence of the 3D experience. Can be ordered for left- or right-ear routing, with single or dual-driver earphones.
