| Sensaphonics Upgrades ProPhonic 2X-S Earphones
New cable design improves both ruggedness and flexibility.
Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation, Inc., the leading supplier of custom-built earphones for in-ear monitoring applications, has announced a running change to the cable design of its acclaimed ProPhonic 2X-S earphones. The new cable, which is available immediately, is both stronger and more flexible than the original version, and is offered in both matte silver and black finishes.
"Making a change to a successful, high-end product like the 2X-S is always a difficult choice," said Mike Santucci, founder and president of Sensaphonics. "But when we learned we could offer a cable that was both heavier gauge and more flexible, it was actually an easy decision." The new cable assembly also offers improved strain relief and a new easy-grip split adjuster (zipper). The new cable is already in production, and pricing for the ProPhonic 2X-S remains unchanged.
Free ear impressions for the upgraded ProPhonic 2X-S and all Sensaphonics products will be available at the upcoming NAMM show in Anaheim. The Sensaphonics display will be located in Hall A, Booth 6852.
