Sensaphonics Unveils 2MAX Custom Earphones
New model is optimized for use with wireless in-ear systems.

Chicago, May 7, 2007 - Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation, Inc., the leading manufacturer of custom soft-fit earphones, has announced the immediate availability of its new 2MAX Earphones for musicians and engineers. Based on the design of the companyŐs acclaimed ProPhonic 2X-S model, the 2MAX features a higher-sensitivity electroacoustical design, making it optimal for use with wireless personal monitor systems.

Based on the same balanced armature drivers that give the 2X-S its high fidelity sound, the 2MAX features higher sensitivity, resulting in more output at lower volume settings. The maximum output for the two models is identical. The new model features the same precision, high fidelity sound quality that has made the 2X-S a favorite of artists like Dave Matthews, Green Day and Franz Ferdinand.

"Basically, the 2MAX is designed to eliminate the differences in system performance between wired and wireless in-ear systems," notes Sensaphonics president and founder Michael Santucci. "It allows wireless users to get the volume they need at lower bodypack settings."

While its internal electroacoustical construction is different, the new 2MAX earphones are visually identical to the 2X-S. Both are custom molded from soft silicone, the only available earphone material that doesnŐt shrink, crack, or degrade, ensuring long life, a good seal and comfortable fit. The standard transparent silicone material can be customized in various colors, for a look as unique as the custom fit. The 2MAX also features a stronger, more flexible cable, available in either matte silver or black.

Like all Sensaphonics products, the 2MAX custom earphones are not available in retail stores. They can be purchased through Sensaphonics or the companyŐs audiologist network. Pro direct pricing for the 2MAX is $850. For more information or to find a Sensaphonics certified audiologist, please visit www.sensaphonics.com.
