3D-HW Active Ambient nominated for TEC Award

Sensaphonics is proud to announce that the 3D-HW Active Ambient System is one of seven products nominated for the 2008 TEC Award for outstanding technical achievement in the Ancillary Products category. The 3D-HW is the latest version of 3D Active Ambient IEM System, designed as a standalone system for hardwired applications. Ideal for drummers, keyboardists and other stationary performers, the 3D-HW uses a binaural microphone system embedded in custom-fit silicone earphones to capture ambient sound, then combines it with the IEM mix in a compact bodypack mixer-amplifier with zero latency.

The Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards are presented annually by the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio, and will be awarded at the AES Convention in San Francisco on October 3.

Voting for the 2008 TEC Awards begins online on August 1. Ballot guides will be sent to subscribers with the August issue of Mix Magazine.
