Sensaphonics limited re-opening June 8th
(May 31, 2020) Sensaphonics is pleased to announce the limited reopening of its Chicago offices, including the Musicians Hearing Clinic and manufacturing lab. While everything remains corona-tentative based on direction from the city of Chicago, the company plans a controlled re-opening on Monday, June 8.
The company has issued a simple set of “rules of the road” for the reopening, designed to protect employees and customers from exposure to the corona virus. All visits are by appointment only. Clients may make clinic appointments at 312-432-1714.
Of course, facilities will have a different look and feel. Sensaphonics staff will wear facemasks, and the clinic audiologist will wear full PPE (face shield, mask, and gloves). All visitors will be temperature scanned at the door, and only one patient will be allowed on premises at a time. Social distancing (6 feet) will be maintained, except during the actual ear exam. All visitors are required to wear facemasks, and the use of gloves are encouraged. All equipment will be disinfected after every client visit, as Sensaphonics has always done.

Sensaphonics is committed to serving client needs safely, without undue exposure risk. This means following guidelines and best practices as established by the city of Chicago and the medical community. Sensaphonics wil be adhering to best practices recommended by the CDC as well as guidelines from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA).
The Sensaphonics manufacturing laboratory is set up for social distancing between workers and will be in full operation, producing custom-fit in-ear monitors, Musician Earplugs, and silicone sleeves for 3DME, Shure, and Etymotic IEMs.
