Sensaphonics is proudly affiliated with a wide range of organizations, bring hearing wellness expertise to the music industry and educating the audiology world on preventing music-induced hearing disorders..

NHCA (National Hearing Conservation Association)
A longtime supporter and member, Dr. Santucci served on the NHCA executive board for 7 years and was Director of Membership. He and Dr. Heather Malyuk are also members of the NHCA Music Induced Hearing Loss Task Force.

HAES (Audio Engineering Society)
Dr. Santucci co-founded the AES Technical Committee on Hearing and Hearing Loss Prevention with Robert Schulein, AES past president and a design engineer for Sensaphonics. Schulein and Santucci remain chair and vice chair, respectively, of that committee. In 2012, Santucci organized and chaired the AES International Conference on Music Induced Hearing Disorders, earning the AES Governors Award. He was an invited speaker at the 2015 conference, where he and Dr. Malyuk presented the paper, “New Developments in In-Ear Monitor (IEM) Technology For Musicians With Hearing Loss.”

AAA (American Academy of Audiology)
Dr. Santucci is a longtime AAA member, doing lectures, seminars, and workshops on hearing wellness in the music industry at the annual Audiology Now convention. and a past trustee of the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF).

PAMA (Performing Arts Medical Associaion)
We are also members of the Performing Arts Medical Association, an organization of medical professionals, educators, and administrators working to improve health care for performing artists.

ILAA (Illinois Academy of Audiology)
Dr. Santucci is a longtime ILAA member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology, which awarded him its highest honor, the Natalie Stukas Award, for his tireless dedication to the cause of hearing conservation, in 2006.

GRAMMY/MusiCares
With our focus on the music industry, Sensaphonics has naturally grown a solid relationship with the Grammy organization. Dr. Santucci has lectured on hearing loss prevention at meetings of the Chicago chapter and, through MusiCares, delivers hearing screenings and hearing health products to the membership at multiple events, local chapter health fairs, and music festivals, including Lollapolooza and RiotFest.

NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants)
As a NAMM member for over 25 years, Sensaphonics has consistently promoted the importance of hearing wellness throughout the music products industry.
